The broad bottom determines the profiles strength and functions as a scoop when folding the screen cloth into a package. Because screen cloths initially shrink a little, new cloths are laid slightly loose. Because of this the cloth will hang loose in the beginning, temporarily making a larger screen package than can be stored in the scoop. Van der Valk Systemen has consequently developed a new screen profile that finally deals with this problem: the Valk-Triple-Plus® screen profile. You can quite rightly call the Valk-Triple-Plus® screen profile revolutionary because it has been developed from an entirety different approach both literally and figuratively. The profile actually has its broad side at the top and its narrow side at the bottom. The broad top provides the profiles strength on the one hand, while on the other it prevents the cloth from blousing towards the top. Last but not least, the blocks ensure that no further contact is possible between the polyester wires and the screen profile so installations run more smoothly, cutting-in is prevented and the screen cloth doesnt get black stripes on it.
